Selling French sugar cane processes to Chinese and Thaï sugar cane corporates

eRcane, R&D centre of the Reunion Island sugar cane industry, with support from Ubifrance, welcomed a delegation of Chinese and Thaï sugar cane professionals one week in October. The objective of this visit was to promote industrial processes utilised in the Reunion Island-based sugar cane factories to potentials clients and to sell de varieties of sugar cane elaborated by eRcane.

Establishing a business abroad in safety

COFACE (Compagnie Française d’Assurance pour le Commerce Extérieur) and the Chamber of Commerce of the Reunion Island (CCIR) signed a new 3-year partnership aimed at offering new guarantees to Reunion Island-based coprorates looking to establish a business abroad. The Banque de La Réunion bank did the same through signing a partnership agreement with COFACE. Les Jeunes Chambres Economiques de La Réunion in Japan

The Jeunes Chambres Economiques de La Réunion (JCE Grand Sud et JCE de Saint-Denis) were in Japan from 31 October to 16 November 2010 to de participate into the world congress of International Young Chambers. Ten membres had the honnour of attending this world event, inaugurated by Japan’s Prime Minister. The whole journey was filmed by a team of the «Zone Australe» TV programme, broadcasted by Antenne Réunion. These Reunion Island-based people, who are stakeholders of the Reunion Island economy, met 12,000 members of International Young Chambers coming from 100 differents countries. Conferences, training courses, investment and partnership opportunities for Reunion island, and of course, a cultural presentation showcasing the tourist assets of the island are all on the programme.
